Elina is a Performance Coach with a diverse background that includes teaching, coaching, mentoring, training, sales, entrepreneur, wife and mother.  Her strength lies in empowering people to believe in themselves so they can achieve confidence to accomplish their life goals.

After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree, Elina worked in the corporate field in marketing and as a Top Sales Executive, including management for 7 years.  Combined with Elina’s fascination of science and how the brain works, her desire to instill confidence and achievement in children led her to open Aim Educational Services Inc. 12 years ago.  Aim has provided students from kindergarten to grade 12 with academic tutoring support that includes a Canadian standardized assessment and a focus on academic foundations. An encouraging learning environment that promotes self-esteem, positive outcomes and solutions are key factors from which Elina operates.

Through her own personal journey as well as her desire to continue to learn and support parents and children, Elina became a Master Coach and Trainer of NLP and Hypnotherapy.  For the past 8 years, she has worked one on one with students and adults to clear out negative thinking patterns and mentor and teach skills and tools to navigate through life’s challenges.

With over 40 years’ experience in the dance industry, Elina’s dance training includes Ballet and Jazz.  She completed her Royal Academy of Dance exams at the Vocational Level (Advanced I) throughout high school and university and competed at numerous dance competitions throughout North America.  She also achieved her professional Teaching Certificate with RAD in 1995.

Elina has a lifelong connection with children during which she has taught Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Lyrical and Contemporary to competitive and recreational students at various studios in the Greater Toronto Area and North, including pre-elite athletes at Seneca College. Elina is certified as a Progressing Ballet Technique Instructor.

Due to Elina’s unique credentials and love of dance, she has combined her knowledge of mindset with her technical performance knowledge and developed Own the Stage™ for performers.  This program teaches performers how to master their emotions, mindset and skills to achieve a superb performance.

Elina is active in the community and was Co-chair of Ladies in Philanthropy for Southlake for 8 years.  She also received the Business Women’s Network of York Region award in 2015 for promoting Literacy.

Recently, Elina has become a facilitator of Navigating Change, a 9-week on-line course that maps out all the different changes we go through and teaches skills to navigate through each change as it comes.

In her spare time, Elina enjoys spending time in nature, hiking and knitting.
